I Just Want to be Useful Person

    Have you ever wondered or asking the reasons you live on earth? I am sure that we have the point in life in which we are confused why we live? Naturally, human are created with desires. They always have something that they wanted to achieve. Dream is something that comes natural from every one of us. Everyone has dream and it can change as time changes. But the hardest thing in life is to turn dreams into reality. We cannot let dreams remains as dream.

    Until today, many people are discussing about what success is. It is very interesting things to make wise discussion about what successful is. Most people who really wanted to be successful have inspiration. One of my idol or inspiration of success is Ignasius Jonan. He was one of the best CEO in Indonesia and rose in very discipline life. Recently, he is the ministry of energy and mineral resources. Before, he used to be the ministry of transportation. His success as the Director of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Indonesian Railway) makes him trusted as the minister. Through his education and the development of human resources, he successfully transformed Indonesian Railway from backward and Chaos Company into one of the best national companies in Indonesia.

    It is not something wrong to have big ambition or something we really wanted to achieve. I really hope that someday I could be traveler or someone who works in embassy. But we cannot achieve our big dreams if we don’t develop the human resources such as attitude, hospitality, and the treatment to other people. Our job, career and money will be meaningless if we have poor behavior.

    Since I explore more information and biography of Ignasius Jonan, I am motivated to develop the human resources. What I wanted to be is just useful person. Regardless of what my job is, the most important thing is that we can educate ourselves, family and society to develop the human resources or attitude.

    In conclusion, it is very good to have big dreams such as career or education. We are allowed to dream to go to university abroad or becoming a doctor. But remember that human resources is always the priority. Without having good human resources, our dream will not give benefits to society. Regardless of what my career or education, what I wanted to prioritize is educating myself and society about human resources.
